Our management staff has more than 50 combined years of experience in both teaching and coaching children. Our teachers are either certified and/or have a bachelor or masters degree in the area of instruction.

We believe in providing the best service possible and stand behind our services. As a result, we hold our teachers to the highest standards and before becoming part of our team, each is subject to an extensive background check and rigorous interview process. Our teachers are equipped and ready to do the best to lead your child to success. In order to be able to do this, they must take on the role of a "learning coach," which is much more than just a tutor or teacher. 

What is a learning coach?

A learning coach cares about the players and respects their differences.  According to Stix and Hrbek, coaching is concerned with long-term skill development rather than with quick fixes or temporary understanding. A coach is defined as one who offers inspiration, guidance, training, and modeling, and who enhance others' abilities through motivation and support (Longenecker & Pinkel, 1997).

The goal of teachers who coach is to help students:

• Find their inner strengths and passions in order to nurture self-worth and identity,
• Have a voice in their own learning and negotiate collectively with the teacher to create their goals and objectives,
• Passionately engage in talking content to increase memory retention and fuel motivation to learn, and
• Use their inner talents to bring their work to the highest level of scholarship attainable.

We believe deeply in our learning approach and believe that all kids have the ability to learn. It is just a matter of determining their learning style and abilities, and developing the right roadmapto reach them.  We don’t give up on our kids. We labor with them. Thus, we are learning coaches.
